We host this quarterly event and it is always so much fun. Basically if you want to learn to sew you can come and if you know how to sew you can come! We all work together to make quilts for various charities. If you have a sewing machine, please bring it along. You can come for an hour or more and see what its like. This is a great opportunity for school age children to learn basic sewing skills. This class will introduce materials and cover basic technique but mostly will provide you with the time and space to practice!
Foundations of Art for Home-schoolers. This weekly art class combines hands on projects with elements and principles of art as well as Art history. Taught by Christine Brown who holds a Bachelor Degree in Studio Art from Towson University. This class will enrich your student. Art adds so much beauty and value to our lives and cultivating an affection for it in our youth is an important part of their education regardless of their career path.
