What is Barbed Wire Browns Really about?
If you are looking at this and thinking what a strange schedule, please remember we are an art center run by a homeschooling family, with other employment, roles, and responsibilities. We care deeply about providing our community with opportunities both to appreciate art and human creativity as well as participate in making art in our classes and workshops. But this is one facet who we are and what we are doing. Please extend us a gracious spirt and remember this is not a Profit driven business. This is a labor or Love!
*We offer lovely handmade artisan wares in our gallery shop and would encourage you to support local art and the artists by visiting often. There is a lot of new work made during the time of quarantine we would love to share with you.
*We offer birthday parties, events, ladies night out parties, and meeting space for out community and encourage you to find out more by stopping in and talking with us!
*We are caretakers for the LeRue house which is a historic landmark building in Downtown Longwood. Built in the 1800's and houses our carriage house classroom and out gallery shop as well as our studios and office space. The house alone is worth a visit and is part of a walking tour of the historic district.
*We offer art classes for the purpose of acquiring skills and learning techniques in a laid back and encouraging atmosphere where we explore creating while expecting that the learning process takes time, effort, perseverance, and problems to be solved!

Postponed happy hour
We have sorrowfully decided to postpone our happy hour this month as well as cancel our summer camps. We still are open daily for shopping because rarely do visiits overlap between customers.
We do have masks for sale in the shop in addition to our great selection of local made items. And we just got T-shirts made! They are a great way to show support during this difficult time. Thanks
